Building and planning for the future requires wisdom, faith and obedience. The next few months are going to be a significant time in the life of our church as we launch the Momentum program.
How to pray for the “Momentum” Capital Campaign and the Building Project.
For a spirit of unity in the church throughout the entire three-year Campaign.
That this entire experience will be a time of rich spiritual growth and blessing for our entire congregation.
That people will earnestly seek God’s will for their lives concerning their commitment and be willing to obey from the heart all that God asks of them.
For God’s provision to enable St. Matthew Church to meet its financial goals and that all the funds needed will be provided on a timely basis.
For the spiritual, financial and physical health of our congregation and for full employment to enable people to keep the commitments they make.
For God’s wisdom and discernment for church leaders concerning every decision that needs to be made.
For the protection of workers engaged on this project and for opportunities to share the gospel with them.
That the completion of the project will enable St. Matthew to continue to be “salt and light” in the Metro East and throughout the world as it enlarges our ministry for decades to come.
For God to enlarge our hearts to see the need and joyfully respond.
